[Once on the roof Lupin gives into his nagging temptation and lights up a cigarette. He had been holding off because of the sensitivity of this plan and the danger inherent to it, but he was all ready going to be drinking with Zenigata. A few smokes couldn't hurt. He smiles cryptically as he picks out one of the chair and settles in, slouching with affected nonchalance.]

[The cop opens a beer with a pop and takes a swig]

Some of the doctors are hiding the Blue Man, and I'm being a decoy to throw any search parties off.

Seriously? And...you're doing this why?

[Feels uncharacteristically selfless of the thief, really]

I'm...not even sure. It seemed like a good idea at the time, and I have more experience at disguises and infiltration than a lot of people here. It might be a good way to get info, if this works. But, really? I don't know.

It might be just the chance we need to get some headway here.

But that doesn't change the fact that its dangerous. Whats gotten into you, Lupin? This is really risky even for you.

...and I just worry about her, you know? She's been here longer than either of us. At the very least, could you make sure she doesn't toss my guns into the lake? It was tricky fishing it out last time she did that.

...thanks, Pops. I love knowing that I can rely on you in a pinch, even if you don't like to work with thieves.
